You may be feeling lost, stuck or discouraged. You may be searching for answers or trying to adjust to unhappy circumstances. If you need a non-judgmental, safe place to question, explore and experience vulnerability, you've come to the right place. Oftentimes, people only become aware of the emptiness and pain in their lives at a time of crisis. During these moments, there can be a strong urge to better understand life and to find meaning in the chaos and confusion. Let's take advantage of that, and work together to rediscover yourself and your values.

You're here. That means you're doing the right thing. I hope you'll take the next step and reach out. I would love to hear from you.
I consider it a great privilege and gift to walk beside my clients as they ask the tough questions, wrestle with acceptance, and take up the challenge of changing. I believe people can change and that therapy is a powerful tool which can enable a person to engage with problems of living in a creative, active, and reflective manner in order to find new meaning and purpose.
The therapy process involves exploring past life experiences, patterns of relating to others, and current emotional distress in order to promote insight, increased flexibility, and growth. Our goal is not simply a remission of symptoms (anxiety, depression, addictions, etc.), but to benefit from increased self-esteem, better use of your talents and abilities, and improved capacity for developing and maintaining satisfying relationships.
The primary type of therapy I provide is called psychodynamic therapy, in which our first task working together is forging a relationship based on emotional safety and trust, which is important – especially if you've been misunderstood by others.
I have extensive training in multiple evidence-based psychotherapy models, and use counseling methodologies that have been shown to be effective, including:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Mindfulness and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
We all struggle with responsibility, vulnerability and intimacy. We seek meaning in our lives. What matters to me is that you and I are able to forge a relationship together, because our relationship is the crux of successful therapy. And it can only work if it's tailored to you – to meet your individual needs in a personalized and holistic way. The best way to accomplish that is to start with a relationship.
In addition to providing psychotherapy services, I provide clinical supervision to therapist candidates and offer training on the more nuanced cultural differences that can cause confusion and misunderstanding when working with clients, employees or others from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Being here isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of STRENGTH.
