You may be feeling lost, stuck or discouraged. You may be searching for answers or trying to adjust to unhappy circumstances. If you need a non-judgmental, safe place to question, explore and experience vulnerability, you've come to the right place. Oftentimes, people only become aware of the emptiness and pain in their lives at a time of crisis. During these moments, there can be a strong urge to better understand life and to find meaning in the chaos and confusion. Let's take advantage of that, and work together to rediscover yourself and your values.

You're here. That means you're doing the right thing. I hope you'll take the next step and reach out. I would love to hear from you.
I consider it a great privilege and gift to walk beside my clients as they ask the tough questions, wrestle with acceptance, and take up the challenge of changing. I believe people can change and that therapy is a powerful tool which can enable a person to engage with problems of living in a creative, active, and reflective manner in order to find new meaning and purpose. My approach is existential and humanistic. If those terms are unfamiliar to you, what they really mean is that I believe we're all more alike than different. We all struggle with responsibility, vulnerability and intimacy. We seek meaning in our lives. What matters to me is that you and I are able to forge a relationship together, because our relationship is the crux of successful therapy. And it can only work if it's tailored to you – to meet your individual needs in a personalized and holistic way. The best way to accomplish that is to start with a relationship.
I'm here to listen and work with you. My professional training and life experiences have prepared me to help you with a variety of issues, including:
end of life issues
I also specialize in working with people affected by traits of emotional instability and/or borderline personality disorder, in which the focus of our work is resolving negative patterns of extreme mood swings, sensitivity to rejection, self-sabotaging behaviors, chronic anxiety, restlessness and suicidal thoughts.
In addition to providing psychotherapy services, I provide clinical supervision to therapist candidates and offer training on the more nuanced cultural differences that can cause confusion and misunderstanding when working with clients, employees or others from culturally diverse backgrounds.
I believe firmly in using counseling methodologies that have been shown to be effective, and have extensive training in multiple evidence-based psychotherapy models, including:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT)
Being here isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of STRENGTH.
